Testing...testing...
Hello blogger world....my name is Amy and this is my sad attempt at jumping into the blogosphere...so please bear with me. As this will be a pretty steep learning curve for me! :)
So just a little introduction, as I mentioned I am Amy. I am originally from the slow speaking, sweet tea drinking, boiled peanut eating land of the south! I recently moved to the mid-west for my job and decided to start this blog to keep in touch with people back home...but really just to document my journey of moving clear across the country! If you asked anyone 5 years ago where I would be after graduating from college...most all of my friends would have said she will move back home, and teach. But boy did God have some surprises for me! I ended up moving 3.5 hours away from home to work for an agency that was a far cry from teaching high school agriculture (which had been my plan for oh...only the past 4 years!) :) So... here I am beginning the 4th year of my "professional career" (that sounds so weird)....living in a town approximately 16 hours away from home! Wow...that still blows my mind. Although I am enjoying the current season of my life...I am usually always "Gone to Carolina in My Mind"!!!!
Anyway, more on that later!
I am going to attempt to post some pictures that will give you an idea of who I am and what I am all about... (maybe...if I can figure it out!)
The south is a place that gets in your blood and stays forever! :)
Enough said..... :)
One of the biggest reasons my heart, soul and mind is constantly on Carolina! My niece Ella Grace!
Well that's enough for tonight...more on the rest of the family later!
Going to bed now... I hope my randomness didn't bore you!
~Sweet dreams of Carolina.....Amy :)
